Internet Connection Requirements

Carrier which allows the use of unrestricted GPRS (almost every carrier) The inserted SIM card's account must have Internet access enabled.

  1. Register your account to make your username and password.
  2. Install PhoneSheriff directly to your device and launch the program.
  3. Login to your account after 60 minutes to view logs. Check logs anytime.

Step 1. Register Your Account - [Details]

After ordering PhoneSheriff you will instantly receive an email containing your registration code.

If you have already registered using a trial account:

Please contact our Technical Support department by submitting a support ticket here to register your trial account(s) into fully registered accounts. When submitting a support ticket, be sure to include your contact information, username(s) to register, and your registration code you received upon purchasing a subscription.

If you have never created a PhoneSheriff account:

You will now need to create your username and password by registering. By registering your account you will create your username and password. To register, please click on the link below to go to the Registration page:

Step 2. Install PhoneSheriff - [Details]

After you have registered your account, it's time to install the software to your phone or tablet. You have to download and install PhoneSheriff directly onto the device you own & intend to monitor. Go to the appropriate installation instructions page for your operating system.

Each operating system has different instructions for installing the software. iPhone, Android, BlackBerry.

Step 3. Login to View Logs - [Details]

After you have installed the software you can login SECURELY to your account to view logs anytime. Please allow up to a few hours after installing for logs to show up the first time. Usually the first logs show up after one hour.

Registering Your Account

Now that you know a little more about how the process works we will describe each step in more detail. Let's begin by registering your account as described below.

If you have never created a PhoneSheriff account:

You will now need to create your username and password by registering. By registering your account you will create your username and password. To register, please click on the link below to go to the Registration page:

After you have reached the Registration page, input information into the following fields. Your password may contain numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces. Both the username and password MUST contain between 4 - 10 characters each. Paste your registration code to the appropriate box. You must agree to the legal requirements on the registration page. Then click SUBMIT.

Login Information

Enter a username / password you wish to use.Must conatin between 4 - 10 characters each.

Registration Number

Copy and Paste the registration number from your order email.

Support Email Address

Enter your email address in case we need to email you updates.

Legal Requirements

You must check the box to agree to the PhoneSheriff Legal Requirements.

After you have completed all fields, click SUBMIT to create your account.

Installing The Software

Now that you have registered your account, it's time to install PhoneSheriff onto your phone or tablet that you intend to monitor. The steps for installation vary depending on which operating system your device is running. To find the steps for your device, simply click your operating system from the list below.

Not sure which version operating system you have?
  • On Windows Mobile devices, go to: Start > Settings > About.
  • On Symbian OS devices, go to: Menu > Applications/Tools > About.
  • On iPhone devices (3G, 3GS & 4), go to: Settings > General > About.
  • On BlackBerry devices, go to: Settings > Options > About.
  • On Android devices, go to: Settings > About Phone.

Logging Into Your SECURE Account

When you are ready to login to your account to check logs, go to the login page on this website . Or you can use the dedicated login site. Be sure to enter your username and password EXACTLY as you did upon account creation. Your username and password are case-sensitive.

Inside Your Account

Once you are inside your account, your screen will look something like the one below. Inside your account there are multiple links. Each link will bring up either a different log type or an administration function, such as deleting logs, changing passwords, support, etc..

This is where you view all activities. You can select which log type you would like to view, clear all your logs, change your password or logout..

The menu at the top of the online control panel also contains links to some of the most commonly used commands.

Log Viewers

Each type of log is saved into a separate section for your convenience. All log viewer pages work the same. They are all sorted chronologically, with the newest information showing first. Every log is timestamped and sorted in this manner.

Deleting Logs

The log files within each viewer page can be deleted by clicking the checkboxes for items you wish to delete, then just click Delete. Additionally you can choose to clear ALL logs by clicking the appropriate link in the Information section of the left menu. Only erase logs if you are sure you want them erased. They cannot be recovered.

*** NOTE: All logs are subject to deletion after thirty (30) days. ***

Change Password

Changing your password should only be done when you can also change it on the device. To change your password, go to your online control panel and click the Change Password link in the Information section on the left. Insert the appropriate fields and click submit. Your password will then be changed. Then, bring up the PhoneSheriff interface on your device. Change the password in the program to your new password.
