In 2011, it was found that almost 85% of teens used online social networking apps and/or sites, a number that increases year by year. While interacting on social networks is a great way for teens to express themselves and reach others, it also comes with many dangers that most parents are not even aware of like predators, trolls, and scams that target young teens to take advantage of.
